Transnational Project Meeting Ankara, November 2024
During
the first meeting of the project that took place in Ankara-Türkiye,
participants had the opportunity to know each other and to present their
schools. The program began with welcoming sessions, icebreakers, and
presentations of the participating organizations, which helped establish
intercultural dialogue and team cohesion. Only teachers took part in this
meeting which contained also a different training sessions in order for the
participants to understand the basis of the VR and how this component will be
integrated to the project. A strong digital component was integrated through VR
storytelling experiences, informative and formative sessions, and debates,
allowing participants to combine creativity with innovative tools in order to
get a good start of the project. The cultural component was an important part
of the meeting as the participants had the opportunity to discover different
parts of the capital city. The week concluded with a final evaluation survey
and the Europass certificate ceremony, marking the successful completion of the
mobility.
LTT Germany, March 2025
On the first day of the project, we visited the city of Düsseldorf. We walked around the city, discovering the atmosphere of Germany, getting accustomed to the new environment, and preparing ourselves enthusiastically for the upcoming activities. We took part in introductory games that helped us build connections and socialize. On the third day of the project, we visited the city of Wuppertal. On the fourth day of the project, we had the opportunity to explore the project’s theme in depth and learn something new: creating a virtual world using the CSEDU application. Each team had the chance to be creative by connecting their own vision with Omar’s story. Additionally, with the help of VR headsets, we had the opportunity to “enter” a virtual world and, at the end of the project, experience the one we created ourselves. On the fifth day we went to Cologne. We visited several tourist attractions, including the famous St. Peter’s Cathedral, where we also watched a short film about the construction of the cathedral. At the end of the day, we returned to the school where, together with students and teachers, a traditional German dinner was prepared for us.
The last day of the project was the most emotional one because we all managed to grow very close to the other participants, creating memories together that we will remember for the rest of our lives. We took a short walk through the city of Oberhausen, where we had spent a week with our host families, after which we had to say goodbye. It was very hard for everyone, especially for the host families, some of whom were crying.
