Our school is a hotel school which was founded in 1984 in order to meet the need for qualified staff in the field of tourism.We have 6 administrators, 78 teachers and 696 students; and a strong staff of 101 people serving in the accommodation part of the school. In our school, a practice hotel with a capacity of 240 beds, 24 classrooms, 10 workshops, 1 multi-purpose hall and 4 meeting rooms are available. Falez Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MTAL) provides education to young individuals in the secondary education age range.2. Falez Vocational Education Center (MESEM) provides training to individuals of all ages who are secondary school graduates.-The fields and branches taught in our school:1. Food and Beverage Services Area-Service-Kitchen-Cooking-Stewardess- Food and Beverage Services branch2. Accommodation and Travel Services Area- front desk- Operation- Housekeeping- Accommodation and Travel Services branch-Travel Agency branchWe give education in two branches as Food-Beverage Services and Accommodation-Travel Services. Our school's mission is to raise individuals who have a wide cultural and linguistic knowledge; skillful in their profession; open to developments in the sector; and love their profession.There are 525 students (60% male and 40% female) at Falez MTAL; About 90% of them are from economically disadvantaged families.They have to work from the early ages because their family cannot afford their expenses.Consequently, they choose our school for their education so that they can make money at early ages. 45% of them are from divorced families.Some of them do not have good accommodation circumstances and some of them have to live with their relatives. %20 of them are immigrants from different countries such as Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Russia,Kazakhistan, Uzbekhistan and etc.We have 173 students between the ages of 14-38 at MESEM because of the economical disadvantages they face. A great amount of students have obstacles to learn and practice the European languages because of their economical and sociocultural backgrounds.They study foreign languages at school but they need to practise
